Solid colour cats should have no markings, but do occasionally have tabby 'ghostmarkings', where the tabby pattern shows through. These, however, are usually undesirable, resulting in lower placing in shows.

White
Pure white, without patches of any other colour.

Black
Jet-black.

Blue
Dark midnight-blue.

Chocolate
Warm chocolate-brown

Lilac
Warm lilac-grey, with a pinkish tinge

Cinnamon
Rich reddish-brown

Fawn
Pale beige-tan

Red
Deep ginger-red

Cream
Light yellow-orange
