Katie was our first foundation queen, and is a half-sister to our neutered Imperial Grand Premier girl, Annas, who is the first ever Imperial-titled Tiffanie. We are very grateful to her breeder, Amanda Colgan (Rushbrooke Asians, Burmese and Bengals, Cambridgeshire) for letting us have this lovely girl. Particularly so, considering the fact that letting us have her meant that Amanda had to wait until the next litter to get another girl for herself! She is out of Amanda's gorgeous Black Silver Shaded stud boy Bullet (CH Rushbrooke Silver Bullet) and a delightful outcross girl, Dulcie (CH Merinda Chica deRushbrooke), who is a Black Smoke.
Katie was one of four kittens (two Black Silver Shaded, one Black Self and one Black Smoke), and the only girl. She is every inch the 'typical' Tiffanie, with a lovely short, straight nose, fantastic slender limbs with the cutest little spoon-shaped paws, nice eye shape, and a beautiful clear silver undercoat. She is a lovely wee girl, who likes to curl up under the covers with us and will follow us around 'creaking' at us to tell us that she needs a cuddle. She is very close to both Annas and Dàrna, with whom she curls up on the bed most afternoons - we have lots of cute photos of the two of them curled around each other!
Katie was well received on the bench as a kitten, and has since gone on to continue this early promise. She won her three Challenge Certificates from Mrs Hamilton, Mrs Codd and Mr Crow, making up to Champion at 14 1/2 months. Katie has also done well in her side classes - she came first of ten in one at the North West! She loves shows, and when her cage door is opened climbs straight out onto the table and up the judge to give them kisses - an excellent ploy in my opinion!
Since her mother is a Smoke, Katie carries the self/non-agouti gene and could therefore produce Smoke kittens. Her mother also carried chocolate and burmese restriction, and both parents carried non-silver, so it is possible that Katie carries these too.
Katie has a litter of four lovely kittens by Champion Rushbrooke Chico Moreno, a black ticked tabby Tiffanie boy owned by Amanda. These kittens will all be available to pet/show homes around the end of September. Enquiries are welcome.
